The Bench

For a chemist, "The Bench" usually refers to the area where you set up or work-up chemical reactions. This bench however, doesn't deliver new chemical entities, but serenity. Building the work bench was my very first project in this garage, er, woodshop. The bench is anchored to the wall studs for stability. It holds my oscillating spindle/belt sander, miter saw, drill press, various jigs and hand tools. It also holds the woodshop sound system for jamming those saw dust producing tunes.
